I thought the snow would melt off quickly. Instead, we've gotten more.  Click HERE for a few pictures.  Warning...  Not for the faint of heart.

Well, I didn't get any pictures of the fall colors because they didn't last long enough.  We had a week of high winds that tore down all the maple leaves.

And today, it's snowing...

Kelly called the septic pumper guy on Friday.  He said he could prob'ly be out Monday or Tuesday.  So, I spent a day-and-a-half digging the biggest hole I've ever dug...

Luckily, I decided to take the long way around to the hatch.  Rather than digging two feet to the left, I went about two feet to the right and found the edge, then followed that about eight feet around to the hatch.
