We went to the Woodland Wildlife Park Zoo & Safari, The second biggest zoo in Wisconsin! If you ask the tortoise nicely, maybe it will let you see more pictures...
The tortoise was the greeter.
It is an African Spurred Tortoise. They must be easy to breed because they were all over the zoo. Nearly every pen with large animals had at least one.
After the tortoise was the barnyard animals...
Wandering around, we passed porcupines...
Then came the Serengeti and the giraffes...
From there, we took a tram ride out to see all the plains animals. There were ostriches...
Addax...
And bunches of other animals that were too far off to get pictures of.
After that, there were more birds...
We went into the budgie house. I don't know which was funnier, the birds or the moms and kids shrieking. I'll have to save those pictures for another post. The weather was beautiful and it was a fun day.
