We planted the buckets...
I have them under a tree on the west side of the yard for now. They'll get a few hours of sun in the morning, then they're in the shade the rest of the day. I'll slowly move them to the east to the driveway as they get used to being out in the sun. The front six are peppers, and the back six are tomatoes. We've also planted most of the gardens. And more bushes around the house.

We worked in the gardens for a while today. I took a bunch of pictures...
The hot Mariachi peppers...
The one bucket of sweet bell peppers...
A handful of tomatoes...
I have six buckets with four different types. I didn't check the label to see which this is. All my tomatoes are more meaty for sauce or salsa.
The greens garden...
There is kale, broccoli, lettuce, spinach, the couple carrots that grew (the empty-looking row), and the peas in back.
Four buckets of potatoes...
I have two Pontiac Red and two Kennebec White.
A cluster of three apples...
And a bowl of Kelly's pickles...
She learned Bertie's Bread-and-Butter recipe last year. It takes two of these batches to fill a gallon jar.
